Andy and Emily’s desks are located just outside Miranda’s office in an area slightly smaller than her office. There are two desks situated in the room on either side of the doorway facing each other. At least one person must be manning the desks at all times.

This is the office of the esteemed Miranda Priestly, Editor-in-Chief of Runway Magazine. The office is large and spacious with plenty of room for plenty of people. It is kept in perfect order, and calla lilies are in vases situated around the room. There is one desk, made of glass, two uncomfortable chairs, and then one very comfortable chair. Unfamiliar guests are not welcome unless they have an appointment.

This is not your traditional closet. It is a large walk-in closet, into which many people can walk. The ceiling is extremely high, and there are several sections. Each section contains something different. This closet is full of expensive, fashionable clothes, shoes, and bags. Employees are free to venture into the closet; they take the liberty of venturing, and “borrowing” items within the closet.
